The Belfuse SCS series represents a new line of high-frequency Surface Mount Current Sensing Transformers designed for operating frequencies from 50kHz up to 1MHz. These transformers are engineered for precise current detection in applications ranging from 7A to 15A, offering inductance ranges from 33uH to 22mH with turns ratios from 2:1 to 220:1. Characterized by their exceptionally small footprint and compact size, the SCS series provides a non-invasive, cost-effective, and low-loss method for measuring current flow in power supply circuits, feedback control systems, safety and control circuits, and DC-DC converters/chargers. They are designed for automatic pick-and-place assembly, making them ideal for high-volume manufacturing.
