Signal SCS Series High Frequency SMD Current Sensing Transformers
The Signal SCS Series offers a new line of high-frequency surface mount current sensing transformers designed for detecting current flow in application conductors. These non-invasive components accurately sense current in power supply circuits, safety circuits, and control circuits. They are ideal for applications such as feedback control, load drop/shutdown protection, and DC-to-DC converters/chargers, providing a cost-effective, low-loss method for measuring currents in high-frequency voltage regulators and switch-mode power supplies.

Operating Conditions

- Operating Temperature Range: -40 C to +125 C
- Sensed Current Primary Rating: Up to 10 Amps
- Temperature Rise: Primary current of 10 A causes less than 40C temperature rise above 25C ambient. Higher current causes an increased temperature rise.
- Storage Conditions: If preserved for more than 1 year below 35 C and 35-65% humidity, solderability may deteriorate.
